1. Begin by writing elements in atomic notation.
2. Draw the B- R diagrams of each element.
3. Figure out how many electrons it needs to be “full” (ex. 8 – full and happy)
4. Write the chemical symbol (ex. C = carbon) with the charge (charge and number ex. Na⁺¹)
